Amy graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland in 2022. Since graduating she has gained over 2 years experience working in private practice and hospital settings.
Growing up as an international gymnast, Amy had her fair share of sporting injuries and saw first hand the role a physio plays in not only the rehabilitation of these injuries but also in supporting athletes through difficult times. Her gymnastics career alongside her interest in human anatomy and physiology sparked an interest in becoming a physio. She began her career working as a rotational physiotherapist in a large acute hospital and worked with stroke, oncology, respiratory and musculoskeletal clients. She also worked in a Women’s and Men’s health and continence private practice for two years.
Amy’s treatment philosophy is centred around restoring movement, function and quality of life in clients and focuses on empowering her clients to manage their condition and achieve their goals. She enjoys staying up to date with the latest research and so she can incorporate evidence-based practices in her treatment with clients.
