Alistair graduated from the University of South Australia in 2003 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Since then, he has gained over 17 years of extensive experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy in Adelaide.
Alistair first came in contact with Physiotherapy as a keen sportsperson in high school. He had some hip pain aggravated by his heavy involvement in cricket, field hockey and athletics. His hip responded really well to a course of treatment and exercises prescribed by his local physiotherapist and Alistair was very impressed by the experience. This pushed him towards a career path in physiotherapy after school.
He really enjoyed his university studies and graduated with a desire to make a real difference to people’s function and lives. Since graduating, Alistair has worked in both private practice physiotherapy and hospital settings in Adelaide, developing a broad range of skill and experience. He continues to develop his skills as a physiotherapist and has most recently completed a cancer rehabilitation course.
Alistair uses a combination of manual therapies, dry needling and exercise-based interventions and is passionate about injury prevention and patient education.
