Alistair’s Story
I first came into contact with Physiotherapy as a keen sportsperson at High School. I had some hip pain aggravated by my heavy involvement in cricket, field hockey and athletics. It responded really well to a course of treatment and some exercises from my local physiotherapist.
I was really impressed by the whole experience, so when it came time to choose a career path at the end of School, I thought to myself Physiotherapy would be a good fit for me – it was.
I really enjoyed my university studies and graduated with a desire to make a real difference to people’s function and lives. I have worked in both private practice physiotherapy and hospital settings in Adelaide developing a broad range of skills and experience. I continue to develop my skills as a physiotherapist and have most recently completed a cancer rehabilitation course (Steel Certification).
In my leisure time I enjoy playing golf and am a bit of a film buff.
