This free community event is an introduction to Pilates, using both mat and apparatus at The Physio Clinic in Prospect.
Our instructors are qualified physiotherapists and will take you through the basics of Pilates. The sessions are suitable for beginners and those who may or may not have tried Pilates in the past and would like to know more.... Adults of all ages and physical abilities are welcome.

What is Pilates?
Pilates is a style of low impact exercise specifically focused on posture, flexibility and gentle strengthening. It allows for direct strengthening of muscles in a safe and effective manner whilst being targeted to your individual goals and abilities. Pilates is used by people of all ages to:
Tone your tummy
Improve your posture
Strengthen your muscles
Treat and prevent back pain
Recover faster from surgery

What to wear/bring?
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a pair of socks and a bottle of water
