We were delighted for Robert Bria – Mayor of the City of Norwood, Payneham and St Peters to officially open our Marryatville Clinic on 31 October 2019.
The evening launch was attended by Mayor Robert Bria; councillors Kevin Duke, Carlo Dottore, Scott Sims; staff, patients, family and friends of The Physio Clinic.
After a few months of planning, in August 2019, we opened the doors to our new physiotherapy practice in Marryatville, South Australia. We were previously located in Toorak Gardens, adjacent to Burnside Hospital for the past five years. The larger, upgraded premises at Marryatville better suit the growing demands for physiotherapy services in the eastern suburbs of Adelaide.
In addition, our Marryatville clinic incudes an Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmill, the only one in the state, apart from the Adelaide and Port Adelaide Football Clubs. This state-of-the-art technology is used to treat patients with ACL injuries, lower limb rehabilitation and weight loss.
The establishment of the Marryatville Clinic is particularly important in light of its status as one of only a few independently-owned, non-franchised South Australian physiotherapy treatment facilities.
Being a locally owned business, we appreciate all of your support, as this provides us with opportunities to deliver more to our community through the provision of convenient times, personalised care and long-lasting results.
A special mention to our Practice Manager, Kate Brown for her speech on launch night; Sonya Fowles, the friendy face of our Marryatville Clinic; our dedicated physiotherapists; Burnside Hospital and our orthopaedic partners; and Marsha Deardon-Cadd for her fabulous work pulling this event together!
We would like to thank everyone who attended on the night.
Ben Corso – Director, The Physio Clinic
