    Ben graduated in 1995 and completed a Master of Physiotherapy degree in 2002. Special interests are spinal conditions, orthopaedics, sports and golf injuries.

    Dr Michelle McDonnell

    Dr Michelle McDonnell

    Neurological & Vestibular Physiotherapist

    Michelle graduated in 1996 and has worked exclusively with people with neurological disorders and dizziness/balance problems. She has completed a PhD in the field of neuroplasticity and believes in using research evidence to provide the best therapy for clients. She has extensive experience working with people with stroke, dizziness, spinal cord injury, MS and Parkinson’s disease and for those with falls and balance problems.

    Amy graduated in 2010. She primarily works in our hospital team providing inpatient rehabilitation to patients during their hospital stay post surgery, however also consults at the Prospect clinic. She has a special interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation and musculoskeletal injuries. She has additional training in dry needling and occupational rehabilitation.

    With over 10 years experience Natalie brings a wealth of knowledge and skills to our Blackwood clinic location. Natalie is passionate about providing high quality physiotherapy services focused on evidence based, holistic care. She uses a range of manual therapies and dry needling techniques combined with a strong focus on education, exercise and movement therapy. Natalie has special interests in orthopaedic rehabilitation, Pilates, headaches and shoulder dysfunction.

    Matt Inglis

    Matt graduated with his Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia in 2016. Since graduating, Matt has primarily been working within a private practice setting where he has had the opportunity to treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions. He currently consults at both our Findon and Prospect branches and runs some of Pilates and Hydrotherapy classes. Matt has a special interest in treating all types of musculoskeletal injuries and has a strong interest in post-surgical rehabilitation. Matt has additional training in dry needling.

    Sarah Biermann

    Sarah graduated in 2016 with Graduate Entry Masters degrees in Physiotherapy, and has further qualifications having also completed a Bachelor of Applied Science Human Movement. She brings this additional training and experience to the Pilates and Gym rehab classes she runs at Prospect. She has an interest in hydrotherapy and treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries.

    Shannon Watchman

    Physiotherapist

    Shannon graduated with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2016 with First Class Honours. She currently consults from the Prospect Clinic and runs some regular Pilates classes in the onsite Pilates studio. Her special interests include sports and musculoskeletal injuries, and having played years of netball she knows what it takes to return to sport following injury.

    Kristian graduated in 2014. He works in our Hospital team providing inpatient rehabilitation to patients during their hospital stay post surgery. Kristian is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

    Matt graduated in 2017. He works within our hospital team, predominantly providing post-surgical rehabilitation services at Burnside Hospital. Matt has a keen interest in orthopaedic rehabilitation and the associated journey of patients achieving their desired goals.

    Jesse Adams

    A titled Sports and Musculoskeletal Physiotherpist with over 15 years experience, Jesse has recently returned home after 10 living and working in Melbourne at the Victorian Institute of Sport. He is currently the head physiotherapist of Basketball Australia's paralympic program, and consults orthopaedic patients at Burnside, Parkwynd and St Andrews hospitals.

    Erin is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist who graduated from UniSA in 2010. She is committed to providing her patients with the best evidence based treatment and education possible. Erin also has a strong interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation, jaw related pain and has additional experience with Pilates/Gym based rehab, hydrotherapy and dry needling.

    Jordan graduated in 2014. He works within our hospital team providing inpatient services to predominantly Burnside Hospital. Jordan’s special interests include post-surgical rehabilitation as well as treating sports and musculoskeletal injuries. He has additional training in Pilates, dry needling and lower back injuries.

    Sue is a specialised paediatric physiotherapist consulting at our clinic who is a registered provider under the Better Start initiative.

    Jessica has joined the Physio Clinic team with several years experience in the administration and customer service industry. Having experience with sport-related injuries and a husband studying physiotherapy she is always happy to answer any questions regarding our services at the clinic.

    Lisa has 12 years experience in the Allied Health Sector and takes pleasure in welcoming clients into the clinic and delivering quality customer service. Having done Pilates for many years, Lisa has an understanding of its benefits, therefore, is able to help with any queries.

    Michelle joined the Physio Clinic team in February 2018, when our Blackwood clinic opened its doors. Michelle comes to us with previous medical reception experience, as well as over 18 years of customer service experience working in the travel industry for both Ansett and Qantas. Having first hand experience with Pilates and its many benefits, she is able to answer any of your questions.

    Karen has over 12 years’ experience in reception and admin roles at physiotherapy clinics in Adelaide and has enjoyed the benefits of Pilates classes. She enjoys building the relationship between the patient and the clinic to be a supportive and understanding one.
